Take the A48 towards Gloucester, arriving on the approach to Lydney, do not take the by-pass but continue along, passing Kears on the left, Tesco on the right, going down the hill past the library on the left and the Fire Station on the right. the road immediately after is Swan Road, turn into it, continue along and the entrance to Lydney Cricket Club is in front of you.From Gloucester
Take the A48 towards Chepstow, approx 19 miles you will be approaching the new by-pass, turn right towards Lydney and going down Highfield Hill, after passing Thompson & Thompson on the left go down the hill and after Woolworths on the right, take the second road on the left, Swan Road. At the triangle in the centre , take Market Street and go along to the end where there is a T-junction; turn right and almost immediately left along Ruspidge Road. Continue to the end of this road, about 5 miles, to the T-junction of the A48, turn right towards Lydney.
